Physical Therapy Florida

My name is Sara Jakab and I am a licensed physical therapist in Florida. I graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2014. My undergraduate degree is Exercise Science and Sports Studies from Rutgers University, where I was also on the Division I Women's Gymnastics team. I personally experienced the pain of injury throughout my 20-year career as a gymnast and I know the importance of quality rehabilitative services. 

 

My experience lies in pediatric care, sports-related injuries, general orthopedic concerns, and congenital or acquired neurological conditions. I am also knowledgeable in the areas of equipment management, orthotic management, and general fitness planning. I continue to expand my knowledge in the areas of chronic pain and geriatric care as well. My mission is to help individuals lead healthy lives free from pain with improved independence. I enjoy spending my free time with my wonderful husband, my cute mini goldendoodle, and my amazing friends and family. My interests include playing board games, traveling, hiking, baking, and dancing.
