Hello! I’m Dr. Erica Patterson PT, DPT, PRT with a passion for helping people live pain-free active lives. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2021 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and since then, I’ve been working in insurance-based care in orthopedics/sports, hospital-based outpatient, skilled nursing, and home health all around Milwaukee and as a travel PT! While gaining a ton of experience and perfecting my skills, I also realized that the constraints of our western medical model prevented me from providing the level of care and attention my patients truly needed for lifelong success.

 

My goal is always to provide a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, focusing on empowering my patients through hands-on treatment, education, and advocacy. Whether it’s using my certification in Pain Reprocessing Therapy to help guide people out of chronic pain or using my experience as a collegiate soccer player to help adults and athletes return to what they do best, I will do everything in my power to make you feel supported and heard so you can live your best life!

 

I also have a special interest in ensuring patients in skilled nursing and the home care settings receive patient-centered care. The transition to these settings can be quite stressful and confusing and can lack services that patients need.
